You’re not bungee jumping off a cliff or a bridge but if you’re looking for a unique way to get fit Fly Bungee Fitness is a unique and fun way to exercise!
What to Expect During a Fly Bungee Class or Workshop
Tons of laughter! You can’t help but giggle once you’re strapped into the harness and bungee cord! Fly Bungee™ involves a lot of push-ups, running, jumping and lunges. If you are not able to do these type of activities well, Bungee may be very challenging for you. The bungee cords will help make the exercises low impact. From my experience at Sky Yoga and Fitness, the bungee cord adds resistance on some exercises making them more difficult (running) but also adds support in others (handstands).
What Do You Wear and What Should You Bring to Class?
- I wore basic leggings and a tank and was perfectly comfortable in the bungee harness. Others may find a bit a pinching after being in the harness for an hour so Sky Yoga recommends wearing two layers of shorts or leggings for extra comfort until you get used to it. A fitted top is best since there are movements where your body will be upside down!
- Indoor non-marking workout shoes are best!
- Bring a water bottle and be prepared to get sweaty
