Sky Yoga, a Yoga Studio with an Aerial Twist.
When you walk into the Aerial Studio at Sky Yoga you immediately notice the beautiful pastel blue hues of the room, and the white aerial silks draped from ceiling tiles painted with love from the studio’s owner, Shantel. It makes for a calming atmosphere.
“The benefits of aerial are phenomenal. I noticed once I started doing the positions, it intensifies my floor practice. You can get in some positions in aerial that you can’t on the floor,” says Shantel Welk, Owner, and Teacher of Sky Yoga. Shantel has exciting plans for her new and growing studio. Aerial Yoga was just one new twist she wanted to add to her class schedule that includes hot yoga, barre, and children’s yoga classes.
